A few of our favorite highlights include being named Hawaii’s Best Real Estate Firm for the 7th year in a row, a blossoming partnership with KHON2, a growing sales team and over 3.5-tons of community support from the Locations Foundation. Looking ahead, we hope to work with you and your clients as we continue to serve the people of Hawaii in all of their real estate needs.
Are You on Pace to Reach Your Goals?
With only a few months left to close transactions toward your 2017 sales results, do you know if you are on pace to achieve your annual goal? Whether you are on pace, exceeding pace or even falling short of your goals, July is a great time to take a step back and re-prioritize the prospecting, closing and follow-up strategies that will help your business end the year on a high note. To get you started, take a look at the worksheet Locations Sales Coaches use to help our agents achieve their goals throughout the year.
Hawaii’s Best, Once Again
Did you know Locations has led the industry in transactions for the past 7 years? Did you also know that we’ve been voted Hawaii’s Best Real Estate firm for 7 years as well? Coincidence? We think not. To celebrate this great achievement, we hosted our annual Breakfast of Champions with Side Street Inn and are giving away a trip to Las Vegas with our partner Vacations Hawaii.
Locations on KHON2
You might have seen our Welcome Home neighborhood spotlights mornings on KHON2 and Living808, but we’ve also grown our partnership to include consumer education segments in the evening news. Watch as our Chad Takesue, SVP of Sales, shares a few tips for millennial homebuyers with KHON2’s Howard Dashefsky.
Last month, Locations hosted Kahala-area residents at Waialae Country Club for our annual Kahala Market Update. Attendees enjoyed a social reception with their neighbors while also learning about current trends in the luxury housing market. Presenters throughout the evening included Trini Kaopuiki, host of Living808, Executive Vice President of Luxury Portfolio Stephanie Pfeffer Anton, President of Compass Home Loans Jon Whittington and Locations’ Lead Real Estate Analyst John Jacobson. See photos from and read more about the Kahala Market Update.
Locations People on the Move
Welcome to the Team
Locations is excited to welcome the newest agents to our ever growing ‘ohana. Joining us from Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties are Michelle Taniguchi and Florence “Flo” Calica, and from Realty Isle, Claire Chung.
A favorite tradition at Locations is welcoming our newest class of agents. After an intensive, immersive training course with our Sales Managers, these agents let loose with a comical skit showcasing their new knowledge, followed by a well-deserved pau hana with their fellow agents and admin.
Michelle Anne Lynch, a REALTOR® with Locations for than 15 years, has been promoted to Sales Coach. Congratulations, Michelle!
Last but not least, long-time REALTOR® and partner with Locations Chad Takesue joined our admin team as Senior Vice President of Sales earlier this year. Chad is responsible for establishing sales targets, managing agent productivity, and developing strategic sales plans to promote growth and retention for the company.
“Chad has been a key part of our Locations team from day one,” said Scott Higashi, president and CEO of Locations. “Since joining our team, we have witnessed his professional growth and continued success within the real estate industry. We are thrilled to promote him to our executive team.”
Annual Company Picnic
Always a highlight to our year, the Locations Company Picnic is a fun-filled gathering of agents, employees and their families. This year’s festivities included a dessert contest, canoe and pony rides, watermelon-eating contest, slime-making station and much more. View photos from the company picnic.
Locations Foundation in the Community
It’s been a busy year for our Foundation. Backed entirely by agents and admin, the Locations Foundation could be found out in the community cheering on athletes at the Special Olympics Hawaii Summer Games, collecting nearly 8,000 pounds of clothing for three very worthy charities, brightening the lives of teenage girls at a residential home, watching movies with the keiki of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Club, filling backpacks for students as they get ready to go back to school, and the list goes on…A big MAHALO to the donors, volunteers and community partners who allow us to have a positive impact in the communities in which we live and work.
