In her first 13 months of retirement, Regina’s referrals to Locations resulted in eight sales. As a member of the Locations Legacy Program, her commission from those eight sales was equal to an entire year’s worth of Social Security benefits, effectively doubling her income.
Regina, who was nervous about how she would fill her days in retirement, now has the discretionary income she needs to travel the world.
As independent contractors, it’s critical that Realtors® plan for their future after real estate. Locations’ Legacy Program can help agents to bridge the gap from a thriving career to a comfortable retirement.
“It’s a phenomenal program. I doubled my income!”
-Regina Mass, Locations’ Legacy Program Agent
Locations’ Legacy Program
Locations’ Legacy Program was created for agents who are ready to transition from an active career to retirement—while maintaining a passive income stream.
We offer retiring agents two options:
- If you do not plan to keep your Hawaii real estate license active, you may choose a Locations agent to sell your book of clients to. We’ll handle the transfer of your clients’ information to the agent of your choice, and we’ll send communications to your clients on your behalf to let them know that you’ve retired and who you’ve entrusted your clients to. We’ll also help you to determine the value of your client list. It’s a win-win-win, for you, your clients and for active Locations agents looking to expand their business.
- If you plan to keep your license active, you can join the Locations Referral Company (LRC). This option allows retired agents to earn a typical referral fee of approximately 25% commission for every closed sale. There is a low, per-transaction commission of 10%, which goes to LRC (retired agents keep 90% of their earned commission).
Whether your retirement plan includes traveling the world or spending quality time with the grandkids, let Locations’ Legacy Program make your transition as seamless as possible. Wondering how you can capitalize on the value of your client list when you retire? Let’s talk about your options!
