The Path to Partnership: An Opportunity Like No Other

For nearly 50 years, the Locations Partner Program has been a driving force behind our continued success as a firm and the exceptional productivity of our agents.

What is the Locations Partner Program?

Our agents are more than just salespeople — we believe they have the potential to shape the future of our firm by taking part in its ownership.

Five years after our founding in 1969, the firm’s original three partners decided to offer partnership to select agents. By 1975, Locations had an established partner program, distinguishing the firm from its competitors.

Today, Locations continues to be one of the handful of real estate companies with a partner program. Our partners are among the most accomplished and highly regarded agents at Locations.

How is Partnership Earned?

To be considered for partnership, agents must:

  • Have excellent sales performance
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the firm
  • Be respected by their peers and their clients for their industry knowledge, professionalism and business integrity

Locations partners are not just top sales agents; they are mentors, coaches and cheerleaders. Many of our early and mid-career agents have benefited greatly from the mentorship of a Locations Partner.

When Locations agent Bryan Balisacan was starting out, Partner Emeritus Chris Kitaoka stepped up to mentor Bryan and hold him accountable for his own success.

So, when Bryan became a partner several years ago, he was ready to pay it forward by advising the next generation of Locations agents. This cycle of mentorship has kept the wheels of our partner program turning for decade after decade.

Watch Chris and Bryan discuss how their mentor-mentee relationship evolved over time.

What are the Benefits of Partnership?

Being a Locations partner comes with a lot of responsibility, but there are many rewards, too.

Locations Partners contribute to the firm through their professional success, willingness to train newer agents, and their service to the community and Hawaii’s real estate community.

In return for their many sacrifices, partners enjoy a percentage of ownership in the firm. Because they help to steer the firm and its agents, when Locations profits, our partners profit.
