Locations Foundation Annual Movie Day
The Foundation treated 200 guests from Big Brother Big Sisters Hawaii and the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii to the new movie release “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” at Regal Dole Cannery Theater July 1 for its 17th annual movie day event. Fourteen Locations Foundation volunteers were on hand to ensure the children and their chaperones enjoyed a morning out at the movies.
The Foundation also presented Big Brother Big Sisters Hawaii and the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii with a $5,000 donation each to further their respective missions of supporting children ages 6-16 years old who have faced adversity in their young lives and experienced the loss of a valuable connection, and enabling Hawaii’s young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Locations Foundation Backpack to School Supply Drive
The Foundation donated 500 brand-new backpacks stuffed with school supplies to the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii NFL YET Hawaii Nanakuli Clubhouse, Women in Need, Kahauiki Village and Institute for Human Services, and Weed and Seed in July 2023 as part of its 22nd annual Backpack to School supply drive.
During the month of July, Foundation members and Locations clients donated paper, composition books, pencils, glue sticks and more. Foundation volunteers then filled and delivered the backpacks to our nonprofit partners to be given out before the start of the school year.
Since 2001, Backpack to School has donated thousands of backpacks to children in need across Oahu.
Locations Foundation Donates $5,000 to Hawaiian Hope
The Foundation donated $5,000 to Hawaiian Hope in July 2023. The organization, which provides computers to children from low-income families, will use the fund to purchase parts to assemble computers for the Makaha Community Center. The Center will then distribute the computers at no cost to children and families in need.
The Foundation has donated more than $30,000 to Hawaiian Hope over the past several years to supply computers to students at Palolo Elementary School, Lunalilo School, Kawananakoa Middle School, Kaiulani School and Pohakea Elementary School.

About the Locations Foundation
We launched the Locations Foundation in 1988 with the goal of improving local communities and the lives of children and families in need. The Foundation provides every Locations team member a trusted way to give back to the communities where they live, work and play.
All Foundation members are Locations agents and employees. To date, 200 Foundation Guardian Donors contribute a portion of their annual income and volunteer time each year. As a company, Locations donates thousands of volunteer hours to service projects throughout our island communities and a portion of our profits to more than 100 local family- and child-focused nonprofits. The Locations Foundation was named Hawaii’s Best Local Non-Profit in 2022 by our clients and the readers of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
