Using a time-tested curriculum, our agents are continuously exposed to best practices so they can avoid the frustrations of learning on the fly. Here are a few of our agents’ favorite ways to learn…
Coffee Talks
Our partners and top-producing agents host coffee talks across our five offices on Oahu, where they share their personal success stories in real estate. These informal gatherings help our agents to become more efficient in their businesses and maintain a healthy work – life balance. When surveyed, 84 percent of our agents said they were able to immediately apply what they learned during a coffee talk to their business.
Power Groups
Organized by agent production and specialized skill sets, our Power Groups bring together agents who are in similar places in their careers. Power Group meetings are a time for agents to share ideas and work collaboratively to address any challenges they face, whether in day-to-day business or long-term career planning.
Practitioner Training
Wade Uehara, an agent with Locations for eight years, is a testament to the effectiveness of Practitioner Training.
“I took a listing class from a partner, and applied what I learned in a listing appointment the very next day,” said Uehara, who landed the listing with ease.
Regardless of your skill set or experience, there is always someone at Locations who is willing to help you grow both personally and professionally. Practitioner Training topics range from listing presentations to 1031 Exchanges.
Sales Meeting
At Locations, our monthly Sales Meeting is more than just a meeting – it’s an experience. Beginning with a full breakfast buffet, our agents enjoy lively conversations of the latest news, happenings and successes with their peers. Following breakfast, industry leaders cover a wide range of topics, including winning sales techniques, risk mitigation and other timely issues. Sales meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Japanese Cultural Center.
At Locations, mentoring is not a paid gig: It’s a relationship. Through these peer relationships, our agents are able to hone their skills and build their confidence as real estate professionals.
