Shorten the Learning Curve

It’s no secret: Ask anyone in the industry and they will tell you that Locations’ training and learning opportunities help REALTORS® to grow their businesses faster and more effectively than any other training program.

Using a time-tested curriculum, our agents are continuously exposed to best practices so they can avoid the frustrations of learning on the fly. Here are a few of our agents’ favorite ways to learn…

Coffee Talks

Our partners and top-producing agents host coffee talks across our five offices on Oahu, where they share their personal success stories in real estate. These informal gatherings help our agents to become more efficient in their businesses and maintain a healthy work – life balance. When surveyed, 84 percent of our agents said they were able to immediately apply what they learned during a coffee talk to their business.

Power Groups

Organized by agent production and specialized skill sets, our Power Groups bring together agents who are in similar places in their careers. Power Group meetings are a time for agents to share ideas and work collaboratively to address any challenges they face, whether in day-to-day business or long-term career planning.

Practitioner Training

Wade Uehara, an agent with Locations for eight years, is a testament to the effectiveness of Practitioner Training.

“I took a listing class from a partner, and applied what I learned in a listing appointment the very next day,” said Uehara, who landed the listing with ease.

Regardless of your skill set or experience, there is always someone at Locations who is willing to help you grow both personally and professionally. Practitioner Training topics range from listing presentations to 1031 Exchanges.

Sales Meeting

At Locations, our monthly Sales Meeting is more than just a meeting – it’s an experience. Beginning with a full breakfast buffet, our agents enjoy lively conversations of the latest news, happenings and successes with their peers. Following breakfast, industry leaders cover a wide range of topics, including winning sales techniques, risk mitigation and other timely issues. Sales meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Japanese Cultural Center.

"How to DOMINATE your Virtual Open Houses"

Virtual Open Houses are more popular than ever, and Locations agents Jon Yamasato and Melvin Leon-Guerrero were early adopters of this powerful strategy. They’ve both embraced this new technology, and through some trial and error, have made this a regular part of their business.  Listen in and let them share with you what they’ve learned.

Agent Programs in 2019

When it comes to agent programming, 2019 was a year for the books. From monthly workshops to our Mastery Series, and neighborhood events to office pau hanas, there were literally hundreds of opportunities throughout the year for agents to build skills, connect with clients and network with fellow Locations agents.

Support You Won't Find Anywhere Else

When retired police lieutenant Ernest Kong made the move from part-time real estate agent in California to a full-time agent in Hawaii, he knew that he’d need the right support and resources to succeed in his second career. Ernie found the opportunities and tools he was looking for at Locations. Thanks to programs like retail sales, Internet leads and the global connections of a LeadingRE firm, Ernie has taken his career to new heights.

Real Estate Research to set you Apart

Locations is proud to highlight the fact that we are the only residential real estate firm in Hawaii with an in-house Research Department.

Save Time, Make More Sales

Our Transaction Management team has managed more than 30,000 sales, allowing our agents to focus on growing their business and improving their quality of life – not tedious paperwork.

Next-Level Marketing

At Locations, we think that marketing is more than fact sheets and signage. Effective, engaging marketing is about building and maintaining client relationships that span a lifetime and even generations.

The Power of Mentorship

Being in the real estate business can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. At Locations our agents benefit from a culture of shared learning and mentorship. By having an accountability partner, agents like Bryan Balisacan have grown their business into a career.
