In 2009, newly licensed Realtor-Associate® Wade Uehara signed up for Locations’ renowned “Greenie” training program at the urging of a friend who was also in the real estate industry. He didn’t intend to stay at the firm, but was drawn in by the coaches and agents who recognized his potential—at a time when he couldn’t see it yet.
As Wade’s real estate career soared, so did his confidence. Since joining Locations, he’s earned numerous awards and multiple Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Award nominations—along with many happy clients. He credits several Locations programs with his success, including our retail and online sales (formerly known as the Brokers MLS or BMLS) teams, farming program and transaction management services.
But for Wade, like so many of our long-time agents, it’s our people that bind him to Locations, year after year. With unmatched broker support and peer-to-peer mentoring, he’s found a community he can rely on to have his back and lend a hand when needed.
Of all our firm has to offer, however, it’s the Locations Foundation where Wade has carved out his niche. Our charitable foundation is the heart of Locations—for 35 years it’s served as a trusted way for our agents to give back to children and families in need across Oahu. Wade is one of hundreds of Locations Foundation Guardian Donors who generously donate a percentage of their annual earnings and their free time to support local non-profits around the island. Over the years, his steadfast dedication to the Foundation has earned him the Locations Foundation Volunteer of the Year Award and the Locations Foundation Angel Award.
Today, thanks to Locations and a can-do spirit, Wade’s proud to have found the professional and personal stability and security he once only dreamed of, and he’s found fulfillment from paying it forward to his clients and colleagues.
